James Halliday in Moscow

The Australian wine guru James Halliday recently came on a trip to Moscow.

Halliday is one of the most renowned authors on wine. He wrote 15 books and was a co-author of another 35. His most famous works are Wine Atlas of Australia and New Zealand, James Halliday’s Wine Companion and Wine Atlas of California. Halliday is a judge of many prestigious wine competitions in Australia and abroad.

He ran two big events in Moscow — a master class on wines of Australia and New Zealand and a blind tasting of Pinot Noirs made in various parts of the world. James Halliday and his wife Suzanne also participated in the tasting of the Moscow press-club.
