Charity auction “La Part des Anges” was held in Cognac in the end of September.

Twenty three lots of rare and unique Cognacs were sold, together with a Cognac cooler designed by a French artist Jean-Pierre Dussaillant specially for the auction. “La Part des Anges” cooler was also the most expensive lot, hammered off for 3,200 euros. The highest prices were achieved by Courvoisier Succession JS (3,000 euros), Frapin Millesimes Exceptionnels set of five bottles with vintages 1979, 1982 and 1983 (2,800 euros) and Remy Martin L’age d’Or de Remy Martin (2,700 euros). In total, almost 33,500 euros were raised, a third higher than the previous year. This is the third auction organised by Cognac producers together with the French charity organisation “Fondation de France”. The money will be spent on the programmes for elderly in the Cognac region.
